1907 $20 Saint-Gaudens High Relief  Wire Edge MS64 -
"A Timeless Masterpiece of American Coinage"

ne of the ultimate “dessert island” coins!!!!!!!!! The 1907 High relief is one of the most famous coins in the world….and many consider it one of the most beautiful. President Theodore Roosevelt was on a mission to upgrade the designs of our coins and had world renown sculptor, Augustus St. Gaudens, design the new $20 gold piece. His masterpiece was the High Relief. This is a Choice Uncirculated example with great surfaces and flashy gold luster. I believe every portfolio should have a High Relief. Let’s put it this way, I gave one to my wife, to help her financially after I go see Elvis!

This PCGS MS64 example exhibits exceptional eye appeal, with lustrous golden surfaces and sharp, well-defined details. The obverse depicts a majestic Lady Liberty striding forward, holding a torch and olive branch, surrounded by 46 stars representing the states of the Union in 1907. The reverse features a soaring eagle set against the rays of the rising sun, symbolizing hope and renewal. The distinctive Wire Edge, a hallmark of these early strikes, adds an extra layer of rarity and desirability.

With only approximately 11,250 coins struck in this High Relief format, this coin is both scarce and historically significant. Its combination of artistry, history, and numismatic prestige makes it a must-have for advanced collectors and investors. This MS64 Saint-Gaudens High Relief is a treasure worthy of a premier collection, embodying the peak of American coinage artistry.
